Lance Hayward Singers Come join us for a free concert in Brooklyn as we perform some of our classic arrangements accompanied by piano and bass. We will be singing familiar jazz tunes such as L'il Darlin, No More Blues, Black is the Color, Take the A Train. We will also be performing a medley from Carousel, None But the Lonely Heart and Shanendoah. Hope you can make it!

Get into the holiday spirit with your favorite tunes being performed in the unique stylings of the late Lance Hayward. The arrangements of this great NY musician live on with Director, Claudia Marx, the Yuka Aikawa Jazz Trio, and 20 special NY voices. The concert will also feature jazz classics such as Wave (Jobim), Ta...ke the A Train and Route 66. Come on out and support this local upper west side tradition.

Lance Hayward Singers
We are looking for singers of all voice parts, with a feeling for jazz and pop. Repertoire consists mainly of original arrangements of jazz and pop standards, some spirituals and a fun mix of other styles as well. Sight reading required. We rehearse once a week, alternating Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings, for tw...o concerts each year. Most of our songs are accompanied by rhythm section.
