
Land Conservancy of West Michigan LCWM hosted Buddy Huffaker of the Aldo Leopold Foundation and Tom Kubala of The Kubala Washatka Architects, Inc. at our 9th Annual Korth Conservation Lecture Series on October 29, 2009. Both speakers discussed how LEED Certification is important to land conservation and the personal experience they have with building T...he Legacy Center, the highest LEED certified building to date.

Land Conservancy of West Michigan LCWM held a volunteer workday on Saturday, November 14 at our Kuker-Van Til Nature Preserve in Holland, MI. Volunteers wore gloves, used cordless drills, and worked with herbicide to remove woody invasive species on the preserve. Thank you to all who came -- YOU help to preserve the natural habitat of this West Michigan land!
