Woofs & Whiskers Nana (12+ years old) is having a $429-$517 emergency surgery Friday to repair a hole in her mouth that goes up into her sinus cavity, left there from a dental surgery she had from a shelter vet a few months ago. She also has a very bad hear murmur and needs your good thoughts to help her through the anesthesia. Nana, on a heart murmur scale of 1-6 (6 being the worst & meaning you can hear the murmur without a stethoscope) has a level 5 murmur. She has fluid in her lungs as well and her heart is grossly enlarged.
Betty's tumors are almost definitely cancerous and she is scheduled to have a full mastectomy on both sides, on No...vember 5th. The tumor on her neck will also be removed at that time and she will be spayed and have a dental as well.
Hopefully their quality of will be better in the coming months.
Update: 12/3/09
Nana has remained about the same while Betty has fully recovered from her surgery and is feeling much better with a mouth full of clean teeth! Both are resting comfortably and enjoying the benefits of living in a home!

These mature women are 10 and 12 years old and coming to live out the rest of their days with me tomorrow (Sunday). Nana has been spayed and had her te...eth cleaned but Betty needs mammory tumors removed, dental surgery & spay surgery.
