Americans and Texans, we do not need to give up the fight for the God given liberties and freedoms of our great and blessed by God nation. I believe in seccession and have a sticker on my back window of my 4x4 SUV. I believe we need to make sure the right to secceed is secured for Texas. Larry, when a woman is raped, and she calls the police, she is taken to the hospital and offered a morning after pill.

I am hugely PRO LIFE. I have risked my life for the life of my unborn children more than once.

But I strongly believe that if a woman is truly raped, she should be offered the pill.... Read More

Wonder if these friendly countries would accept delegations from Texas for the purpose of recognizing our mission for secession, and future trade agreements.
The heads of those countries endorsment of Texas would bring a big boost for Texas independence. No one in power in Texas seems to be interested in Texas.
Perry was on Fox yesterday and dismissed secession.
So here we sit till the Austin government changes or the USSA occupies us, just in time to pillage our Texas.
Just a thought.

John, has anything ever come out of your mouth that amounted to much at all? If so, I sure have not read it yet, BTW, I hardly made it out of High School with consumer math and had to make up a semester of 10th grade English. However, in the military I worked on multi million dollar aircraft avionics, held a Top Secret security clearance, attended college thereafter. It seems I would have been one of the kids you want to throw to the wayside. Currently I have a 142 IQ, what is yours?

John Todd, chair of the department of political science at the University of North Texas, said he is seeing changes in the types of political opportunities available in Texas.
The secession platform “does indicate that the boundaries of acceptable political discourse have certainly been stretched here, that a candidate ...would believe this is an issue that you can seriously talk about in politics normally would be dismissed,” he said. “Given what the Governor has said [about secession]… it has sort of opened up and pushed the boundaries for this. I think it also says something about the general conservative outpouring that’s going on right now in the state: That people feel very strongly that there’s a need to express a strong conservative position and push back against Washington.”

I think you can look at the movements by the "several states" (just some Constitutional lingo there) to pass 9th and 10th Amendment resolutions that the feds are exceeding the bounds that the Constitution gives them.

These aren't just "idle" political gambits that don't hold water. They are a culmination of the excesses that the states have had to deal with from the kings & queens in Washington. At some point, the breaking point will have been reached and there will be no turning back.
