POSITION: Court Security & Transport Officer DEPARTMENT:Sheriff's
STARTING RATE: $12.00/hr
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the assigned sergeant or designated
supervisor, performs assignments involving security a...nd transporting of
prisoners using measures prescribed to ensure the safety of persons and
property in court facilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
and a minimum of one (1) year of full-time work experience in the care and
custody of prisoners or armed security. Must be able to pass physical
agility test, background investigation, polygraph exam, firearms, drug test
and medical evaluation. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. No DUI
convictions with in the past three years. No Felony Convictions and no
misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
SPECIAL NOTICE: This position requires a valid driver's license. Offer of
employment is contingent upon the applicant providing proof of license and
driving history.
