More grand than any other PRIDE parade ever held in Las Vegas, was SNAPI’s 11th Annual PRIDE Night Parade! Thousands joined in the fun on May 1st from 8 to 10 p.m. in downtown Las Vegas for the most glamorous, glittering spectacle ever created by the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community of Southern Nevada.... This year’s PRIDE Night Parade featured Las Vegas’ gay and straight business community, nonprofit organizations, GLBT service agencies, civic groups, and churches as well as SNAPI’s newly crowned adult and youth royalty. The parade route began at West Charleston Blvd. and headed north along 4th Street to Ogden Avenue. The main stage was at Bridger Avenue just two blocks south of the Fremont Street Experience.

This year Cox Communications was proud to support Southern Nevada’s GLBT community as the official broadcast partner of the 2009 PRIDE Night Parade. Many watched the parade LIVE on May 1 on Cox Channel 96 and online at www.cox96.net.

A special thank you to Jon Carmichael Photography for capturing this great event on film!

An exciting and new addition to the Las Vegas PRIDE event listing this year was the PRIDE Night Parade Pre-Party at the Fremont St. Experience. Thousands joined in the fun as we celebrated another fantastic year of PRIDE and diversity here in the beautiful city of Las Vegas. The Fremont St. Experience generously agre...ed to welcome parade attendees at the 3rd Street stage with special pre-parade entertainment from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Louie Louie, one of Las Vegas' popular and dynamic entertainers, entertained the crowd with a show that is all about energy and connecting with the audience. Also appearing on the 3rd Street stage were Paris Red, Dezmond and special guest Justin Lanning. These concerts were FREE and open to everyone! As the entertainment broke at 7:30pm the crowd joined us on 4th Street for the annual PRIDE Night Parade.

The Fremont Street Experience is a five-block entertainment complex located in historic downtown Las Vegas and closed to vehicular traffic. Suspended 90-feet over the pedestrian mall, an enormous video screen displays spectacular light and sound shows on its 1,500 foot surface. The 12.5 million lights of the Viva Vision screen dazzle 365 nights a year and make the Fremont Street Experience a one-of-a-kind venue. The Fremont Street Experience can be found online at www.vegasexperience.com.

A special thank you to Patrick E. Jones and Jon Carmichael Photography for capturing this great event on film!

It was everyone’s night to shine on Thursday, April 30th for Las Vegas PRIDE’s Official Girl's Party, Boy’s Party, and PRIDE Ball all combined into one fantastic Ménage à Trois event. The party went to a new venue during PRIDE this year, the beautiful Risqué Nightclub inside the Paris Hotel & Casino. Hundreds of hot ga...ls and slammin’ guys jammed into one of the hottest clubs in all of Las Vegas started their PRIDE weekend off right with hot music, plenty of gorgeous go-go girls and boys and lots of live entertainment. Dressed in their best, they were proud to be sexy!
