Let's not kid. The ICC seriously need to find a formula to fit in the T20 phenomena for international season. You can not have a guy like Albie Morkel, being contracted to two teams for the Champs League. That would be like Ronaldo playing for Man U and Real Madrid.
What they need to do is classify a GLOBAL DOMESTIC T20 season (March April probably best) where the County, IPL, Pro20 etc all take place at the same time, and then have the champs league straight after this.
International cricket should scrap the Champions Trophy, and replace it with an International T20 every 4 years ( between World Cup 50 over year). T20 should be in KO format and any country that wishes to eneter should be allowed.
The world cup should only feature the top ten teams in the world, and be played every four years.
This should leave plenty of room for Test Match Cricket. Which needs and A & B division...........
