We are pleased to announce the 2008 Conference on Social Entrepreneurship, to be held November 14-16 2008 and hosted by the Laurel Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
Social entrepreneurship, as defined by the Laurel Centre, is when those with a passion for the betterment of society make use of professional business ski...lls and practices to help make their endeavours more successful. We expect 150 delegates who will be engaged in learning, engagement and discussion on our three key themes of health leadership, education and international development.
Confirmed is our opening keynote address: Marc Kielburger, CEO of Free the Children, who will be speaking on the evening of Friday, November 14, 2008. Tickets are available individually or as part of the conference package.
