The Social Welfare in India Meeting is in 210 Blake from 11:15 to 12pm, the Trier Info Meeting is in Room 315 of the Art & Design Building from 3 to 4:30 pm, and the Boren Scholarship Info Meeting is in the International Room of ...the Kansas Union from 3:30 to 5 pm. Study Abroad at KU
Learn first-hand the social, economic, and political currents that impact the welfare system in India. Open to undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines; students enroll in one 3 credit course in the School of Social Welfare. The two week program will take place in Kolkata, India with excursions to Delhi..., Agra, and Jaipur. Mahasweta M. Banerjee, Ph.D., associate professor, will be the faculty director of the group. Students will enroll in 3 hours of credit (SW560/SW855/SW955). Open to students from any accredited U.S. college or university. Minimum 2.5 GPA required (exceptions considered after submission of a petition).
