ok, but first tell us what is Carnuba Wax ? -;o)

carnauba wax comes from the Brazilian Wax Palm Tree (not kidding!). since beeswax is made by bees, vegans don't use it. i've had a number of requests for non-beeswax products -- so here goes!

according to the FDA, yes. And interestingly, studies show the initial exposure via the skin (verses via eating) are more likely to result in a food allergy. That said, coconut allergies are exceedingly rare. We try to avoid, but I think the allergist is going overboard recommending it.

Kim -- drat. you know, just plain oil (olive, avocado) can work brilliantly as a moisturizer. or give me a shout if you'd like me to brew up a very simple oil/ wax combination. it won't be as smooth as usual "lotions" but it will be moisturizing. i'm thinking cocoa butter and shea butter might also be problems?

Perhaps I'm chiming in late, but I love the rosemary/eucalyptus type scents - especially combined with warm notes like orange...
