The University of Saint Mary department of fine arts proudly welcomes back 1990 USM grad Tammy Meneghini for “This Place Called Love (Songs From the Heartland),” her one-woman cabaret show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in Xavier Theatre on the university’s Leavenworth campus. Meneghini, who teaches at the University ...of Colorado at Boulder, has performed her show in several states and describes the performance as “filled with songs and stories about what happens when an unexpected loved comes true.” The show is free and open to the public, though donations at the door are welcome. Any proceeds go toward the University of Saint Mary scholarship fund.
