As of Sunday afternoon 30 people have registered at the Opelika, AL shelter for Hurricane Gustav. More are expected. Help us help them! Volunteer. Give Blood. Give Money. Call 334-749-9981 or visit www.leeredcross.org. Local Red Cross office will be open Labor Day from 8 am -6 pm. We need you!!!

The Lee County Red Cross has opened a disaster relief shelter at Covington Recreation Center at 213 Carver Avenue in Opelika for those evacuating from Hurricane Gustav. Volunteers are needed! Go to www.leeredcross.org or call 334-749-9981 for more information.

It's all hands on deck for Hurricane Gustav! If you have volunteered before, we need you! If you haven't been trained, we are hosting Disaster Response Training on Sat. Sept. 6 from 8-4 at the Lee County Red Cross. Call 334-749-9981 to get signed up. Class is free and lunch is provided. Visit www.leeredcross.org for more information.
