Sandinista A huge thank you to everyone who called in at any point over a great 7 day birthday period where we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating 7 years of Sandinista! Particular thanks to everyone who came down and joined in the party on Saturday where the day of the dead truely came to life with a spooky mix of zombies, cowboys and a rather disturbing take on the milky bar kid...

It’s hard to believe because of our youthful exuberance, but Sandinista! have been raising hell for an incredible seven years. To celebrate this monumental event we will be staging seven days of events culminating in a Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ party on the night of October 31st, when you’re encouraged to join us and l...ive out your favourite Western fantasies as hombres, gringos and saloon girls.

7pm - 10pm Come and try all that's great about the Sandinista! menu with a tasting selection from the menu priced at just £5. Vegetarian and Fish alternatives available.
10pm - 3am we give you the chance the pick the music with our request night. 50p per request. There's over 50,000 tracks on our hard drive. Take your pick - if we've got it, we'll play it! All proceeds to Oxjam.

The legendary Sandinista Quiz returns for one night only!. £1 per person entry with all proceeds to Oxjam. Guest Quizmaster Martin Jackson.

Tom Attah (on stage at 9:45) Sheffield based guitarist / vocalist and Sandinista favourite turns out soulful acoustic blues in the style of Robert Cray.
Sheba Baby (on stage at 10:30) A massive talent with one of the best raw, soulful voices we've heard in a very long time, Lauren Amy fronts this four piece who turn out southern soul, R'n'B and funk in the vein of Etta James and Janis Joplin.
