Left Hand Red are a Brighton-based, indie-rock quartet formed in the summer of 2005. After spending two years building a strong collection of songs, 2008 saw the release of their third demo E.P., ‘Transition’. With the help of Brighton cohort Ali Gavan, who had previously worked and played with Electric Soft Parade amongst others, the band laid down the E.P. and the result was a top-drawer studio recording which retained the menacing rawness of their live performance. The E.P. gained positive reviews and helped Left Hand Red to gain slots at The Beachdown and Brighton Live festivals as well as playing a string of other successful shows around the south of England.
