Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles Law associates and summer law students showed their support for LAFLA by attending the Associates Advisory Board summer event called AAB Fab held at the Elevate Lounge in downtown Los Angeles. Frank Rorie of Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe and Chair of AAB and the brainchild of the event was excited to see more than 2...00 colleagues come out to support LAFLA. According to Rorie the event serves to increase awareness of LAFLA and helps to build relationships between the organization and young lawyers. A special thank you to the AAB Board and Social Outreach co-chairs Javier Rivera of Fox Rothschild LLP and Kimberly Foster of Barlow, Kobata & Denis who organized the event. Funds raised will help support LAFLA’s Bill Smith Homeless Veterans Project. LAFLA thanks all of the associates and students who attended the event and are committed to the mission of the organization.
