This is the area around Lee Circle, in the city centre and next to Leicester City Council's new Cultural Quarter with the flagship £50 million Performing Arts Centre.
1,700 homes planned as part of a new urban village.

This focuses on the new Leicester Science and Innovation Park, next to the National Space Centre.
It aims to connect the science and technical excellance of our Universities with the wider economy of the city, bringing about 2,000 jobs.
Across the river is Wolsey Island, with room for around 3,000 river and canalside homes there and at the British United Shoe Machinery works.
