Yeah, most of them choose not to buy health insurance b/c they think they will never get sick or hurt. If a Government healthcare or Government-mandated health insurance is passed young people will lose 18% of their wealth b/c costs will increase dramatically, so they won't be buying apples, nor will the elderly since Medicare will be cut by $500Bil. 85% of Americans are happy with their current healthcare system.
In the spirit of Sloan Marshall's 1776 US Flag, look to the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution for the answer. Healthcare is not a right. Government healthcare or government mandated health insurance is Unconstitutional.
Write to your Rep and Senators to go with the by-partisan Conservative alternative to healthcare reform which looks to Free Market to resolve the rising costs so all who choose it an purchase health care insurance.
Interstate Commerce - allow the 1,800 insurance companies in the US to compete with each other in ALL states.
Tort Reform - to limit frivolous malpractice lawsuits which will reduce costs by ceasing unnecessary tests.... Read More
Consumer based - give the same tax credits for healthcare insurance to individuals that employers have today, so we the people can buy our own health care insurance.
