Les Johnson I realize most of you cannot read it (neither can I), but the article I wrote for the Italian newspaper La Stampa is now online. [Yes, I wrote in English and they translated it...]

Source: www.lastampa.it

Congrats, Les. Would it be a copyright or author-code-of-conduct violation to post the English version (as-submitted or as-published)? I'd like to read it.

Les Johnson A few months ago, I was interviewed for two episodes of the Science Channel series Exodus Earth. The series premiers on Sunday, June 21. I am supposedly featured in Exodus Earth: Titan and Exodus Earth: Exoplanets. Let's hope I at least look like I know what I'm talking about...

Les Johnson The Air Force recently announced plans to test a "scramjet" (a type of aircraft engine that allows a plane to fly VERY fast -- 6 or more times the speed of sound) this fall. This is the technology that features prominently in the science fiction novel I'm writing with Travis Taylor for Baen Books.

Les Johnson Astronomy & Space Magazine published a positive review of Solar Sails: A Novel Approach to Interplanetary Travel:

"In their latest book, Vulpetti, Johnson and Matloff argue the case for space-sailing as a viable technology for travel within the Solar System... All in all Solar Sails is a handsome book and a good introduction to a technology whose time I feel is imminent – may the force be with it!"
