The New York City Firefighter Brotherhood Foundation Tomorrow we will read the names of those that have lost their lives due to illness and injury sustained from work down at the WTC. We have put this wonderful video on here in hopes that our fans will take 20 minutes to view some of what we lost that day , and what we continue to lose to this day. Eng Co 6 is located as... a single engine co on Beekman St in lower Manhattan. Nobody working in 6 Eng on 9/11 came home. The video is in 2 parts. Please watch both.

Tracy Just want to pass this along the 911 towers memorial is building a replica of the trade towers 27' tall with legos they are going to reveal this replica at the 10th anniversary of 9/11 you are able to sponsor a brick with a loved ones name on it that died on 9/11. Well I emailed the person running this and he is also g...oing to have all the 9/11 first responders that died as a result of the collapse included as well especially the NYPD/FDNY. So if you guys are interested take a look passing this info along to your friends thanks I think this idea is an awesome one. ♥

It was the worst single disastrous fire for FDNY in Brooklyn. The worst FDNY fire includes the loss of 12 firefighters, was the 23rd Street Fire, October 17, 1966. It was the worst single incident loss of FDNY FF lives until 9/11. It was a very personal and important memory for me - and a huge influence for my becoming a FF.
