Lewi Longmire What a sweet man Ezra Holbrook is. The other night (after admitting he was quite drunk), he said that the Lewi band was as rocking, inspired, and transcendent as any of the great musicians, including Sam Cooke. Then, he proceeded to dictate what my tombstone epitaph should be: "Lewi Longmire, 1971-XXXX: You shoulda been there." Dang!
