We broke ground for our new Davis Marksbury Building in the UK parking lot next to the James F. Hardymon Building on Rose Street, between Maxwell Street and Euclid Avenue.
As Phase II of the College of Engineering's "Digital Village" initiate, the $18.6 million research facility will house the UK Center for Visualizati...on and Virtual Environments, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Computer Science.
In addition, the building will be the university's first LEED-certified building, based on its energy use and environmental focus.
