Libby, the real problem with housing in Canada is that mortgage lending has artificially inflated the value of homes. Don't you find it strange that in a country that has one of the lowest population densities in the world also has some of the highest costing real estate? You must find a way to deregulate land so that more of it can be used for people.

You know, the problem is not what you think it is, and no one seems interested in solving it.

Libby let Jack know how proud we are of his principled stands for things that we really need. The EI reform is so important to so many! Thanks for that jack, for fighting for housing and health care, for standing against the war in Afghanistan and being right as usual. We know what you are doing and we are as proud of it as we were when Tommy and Ed and David were taking these stands for us.

Please find a way to count families living in tents and trailers and motels too. Children are being deprived of any kind of future because the BC Liberals do not think putting a roof over their heads matters!

I'm curious about the pros and cons of so called 'homeless counts'. They have been quite controversial here in Toronto. Anyone with any knowledge?
