Animal Rights Discussion Forum
Organized by the Work Less Party
Join us on Tuesday August 26th when a panel of activists will discuss this very important topic of "What is Animal Activism."
Included in the discussion will be:
- How do we get more people involved in the Animal Rights issue?
- Is there a connection between animal rights and ecological sustainability?
- With the civic elections coming up, can we make animal rights a civic election issue?
- If so, how?
The event will commences at *7.00 pm on Tuesday August 26 at the Britannia Centre.1661 Napier St which is basically Commercial Drive and Venables. The meeting room will be underneath the library.

Annelise produces the CMEPS /Arctic Series/ reports (posted on the cmeps.org website) in order to bring attention to the concerns with the survival of Canada's Bowhead, Beluga and Narwhal whales as well as Polar bear populations being hunted to extinction. Annelise is committed to continuing her work to save the whales, forever.

Betty is a long time environmental activist who has spent over 3 years imprisoned for protesting the destruction of BC's forests.
