LifeWorks Thanks so much to everyone who dropped off donations for Project Holiday Help. If you are still looking for ways to help this season, LifeWorks youth are in need of hooded sweatshirts in dark colors (M-XL).

Autumn is upon us. The weather is getting cooler, which means we all need a little help to stay healthy during this season. LifeWorks Street Outreach youth are in need of cough drops, cold prevention products like Emergen-C and Airborne, pocket tissues, and healthy low sugar snacks. So, when you’re out picking up your ...own supplies, pick up some extra ones to help out Street Outreach in providing supplies for youth in need.
Street Outreach is also in need of camping supplies such as can openers, meal kits, hand warmers, and camping utensils.

LifeWorks, along with Aston Martin and the Stephen F. Austin InterContinental Hotel, cordially invite you to an exclusive preview party for the new James Bond film Quantum of Solace on Thursday, November 13th starting at 6:00p.m.
The pre-party will begin at the Stephen F. Austin InterContinental Hotel, followed by free... pedi cab rides to the Alamo Ritz Theater on 6th Street at 7:00p.m. The screening will begin at 7:30p.m. with lavish food and drinks. Afterwards, pedi cabs will take you back to the Stephen F. Austin for the after-party.
You could be among the first to see Quantum of Solace in the U.S. and view a collection of beautitul Aston Martins. So come experience a high-octane evening while supporting a great local cause. Tickets range from $125 to $200 per person. All proceeds will benefit LifeWorks.

LifeWorks LifeWorks Emergency Shelter, Young Moms and Babies, and the Transitional Living Program are looking for organizations to volunteer for our Thanksgiving and Christmas meals at one or both of our locations. Volunteers will purchase the food, prepare the meals and serve the meals our youth in crisis.

Election day is Tuesday, November 4th. After you vote, come in to our Ben & Jerry’s PartnerShop for a free scoop of ice cream from 5 to 8p.m. The LifeWorks PartnerShop is located at 5th and Lamar.

LifeWorks Leapers will be at Molotov on W. 6th today from 6:30-8:30p.m. to celebrate and support Street Outreach. Bring a donation for Street Outreach and receive a free drink courtesy of Molotov Lounge and 42 Below Vodka!
