Kitemaking for Kids-
Make your own, then see it fly.
Running of the Bols-
Watch for the doughnut shaped kites near the beach. See who can run the fastest into the wind while harnessed to a kite. Prizes for the WINNERS! Register in the main tent.
Kids Parade-
After making their kites, the kids parade down to the beach to... prepare for the stuffed animal drop.
Stuffed Animal Drop-
All Kids age 0-14 are encouraged to enter the drawing to be one of the LUCKY few that will have the chance to grab and take home a stuffed animal after it has parachuted from a kite.
Mass Ascension-
Bring your own kite and see how may of them we can get airborne at once. Launch yours and you might get a unique kite feather made by Deb Cooley. Everyone who signs up and flies in the mass ascension will be entered into a drawing for a glass float. If you need a kite, go across Hwy. 101 to Flying Things or up the street one block to Catch the Wind, or north to Winddriven at 1529 NW Hwy. 101.
Kite buggy and Kite Boarding Demos-
If the weather conditions are favorable, watch these unique forms of kite powered fun.
Free Kites All Day Long-
Winners for kites will be chosen all day long from those who come to fly a kite on our beach. We will be watching for all kinds of colorful, fun, and unique kites and kite fliers to award.

Oregon Beach Vacations This annual golf scramble is one of the largest charity golf tournaments held on the Oregon Coast.
