I hear ya. In a way, my mom was lucky she didn't have health insurance when she got cancer. There were no "desperate measures" taken to save her. We just made sure her pain was staved off.

I hope in my lifetime, we can take death into our own hands. But, I know we probably can't. Not here in the U.S.
