Lincoln Saltdogs For those of you who like to check the team website for transactions, you'll notice that today, the team exercised the 2011 contract options for 21 players. In a nutshell, that means the team controls the rights to those players and can bring them back under their current salary, sign them to a new deal, or move them i...n some fashion. As with most seasons, some will probably come back and a few will end up elsewhere.
