Linn State Technical College Veteran's Day Celebration. On Nov 11th, please join Dr. Claycomb and specials guests in celebrating Veteran’s Day at LSTC. The celebration begins at noon, in the Information Technology Center. The guest speaker is Dwight McDonald. Dwight was aboard the very last military helicopter leaving the U. S. Embassy in Saigon, Vietnam when the United States withdrew the last troops from the Republic of Vietnam.
Linn State Technical College Fall Fly-In Linn State Technical College Aviation Club is hosting an airport fly-in on Saturday, October 24 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Free Young Eagles flights are available for those between the ages of eight and 17. The event will be held in the McDonnell-Douglas Green Aviation Building on the LSTC campus.

Linn State Technical College Congratulations to Drew Collins, a national winner at SkillsUSA Championships in electronics applications. Along with Drew's gold medal, Nathaniel Severson placed fourth in telecommunications cabling and Freeman Fitzgerald placed sixth in motorcycle service. Eighteen LSTC students competed at nationals this year and represented LSTC well.
