Live Nation Connecticut The blizzard really hit us hard here in Wallingford. So hard, in fact, that our parking lots are a mess, and the roads leading to the Oakdale are in bad shape. So, both the 2pm and 8pm performances of Grease scheduled for today have been cancelled. We're sorry for any inconvenience. Stay inside, stay safe, and keep warm!

Live Nation Connecticut The Office Holiday Party is today. The food's gonna be great, but we're worried about the music selection, being that there's so many different people, and so many different styles of music. We need some suggestions - what's the Holiday CD that appeals to the greatest amount of people?
Live Nation Connecticut The Dome At Oakdale presented by Toyota: this ain't your mama's "theatre in the round." This is a bad-ass concert venue, where there isn't a bad seat in the house. (Actually, there are no seats. Which is perfect for a band like Killswitch Engage, on sale TODAY!)
Live Nation Connecticut We're pretty excited about having Killswitch Engage and The Devil Wears Prada here at the Oakdale on March 21st. But it's also exciting to be having them under The Dome at Oakdale - our original venue here in Wallingford. They'll be the first act to play under The Dome in almost 10 years! Live Nation Connecticut Well, that was awesome. Aaron Lewis just redefined "unplugged" by moving his stool to the front of the stage, and doing his last song with no amp, no mic, nothing. He asked the crowd to be quiet, and he just played. And you could hear him in the back of the room. (He's a great singer, but the awesome acoustics of t...he Oakdale probably played a small part.) :-)
