What is your beef with this group? It is quite obvious that you have an agenda. Maybe you should start your own society that supports your beliefs.

The 1998 proposal to create the Endeavour Hydrothermal Vents Marine Protected Area was prepared by three scientists doing research in the area, one of whom was myself. Two of us have since served on the Advisory Committee for the MPA since it was first formed.
