LizzieSiddal.com I've updated this page discussing Ophelia at LizzieSiddal.com to include, not only the famous painting by Millais, but Rossetti's painting of Lizzie as Ophelia. I've shared some links and would love it if anyone has any Ophelia-related links to share.

Lizzie’s experience posing as Ophelia for Millais was a trying one…and a famous one, as well. Her experience has been chronicled so much elsewhere that I’d like to begin with the words ...

Yes, thanks for the reminder! Most of these images are on LizzieSiddal.com and for some reason or other (mainly procrastination) I neglected to add them here! Thanks for keeping me on my toes!

Hi. As I said I know little about my family, and I don't have a family tree as I've never checked any of this out. My only family is my daughter, and the great aunt Lydia who I met only a couple of times when I was a child, would be long dead. I don't think my grandmother knew/cared about any of this, but she was younger than her sister Lydia, and ... Read Morethey seemed very different. Lydia was still dressed in black from losing her young husband in WW1 !
I'm interested in any info you have, and it was good of Linda to put up the name of the siblings. I suppose one of them must be my gt gt gt gt grandmother/father? Or do you acquire a gt aunt by some other permutation? :) I've not ever known extended family, so not good at the relationships...
