Have you ever wanted to become involved in a grand effort to make our Chapter’s communities more climate-friendly through smart growth that makes us less reliant on our automobiles? Have you ever wanted to find out what the Chapter is doing in these areas?... Perhaps you are seeking a way to find out how you can get involved and have an impact. If so, then attend this Chapter summit!
The Chapter recently received a significant grant from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation to be part of a large orchestrated regional effort to reduce global warming emissions from transportation by reducing the number of miles traveled by car. Our Chapter will take the lead role in mobilizing grassroots awareness and action to achieve this reduction.
Key Chapter leaders will discuss the successes and resources of key Chapter committees and Cool Cities Teams. The event will include a mix of presentations, facilitated discussion, and networking. Learn what is being done. Learn what will be done under our new grant. See where you might become involved.
Be part of the discussion...
Be part of the solution!
