About Us
For 2008/09 the Union will comprise of a number of Student Support Facilitators who will work to provide an advocacy, representation and advice service for all students.
They will also be producing the Independent Student Metro (ISM) magazine and the MetSU website.
If you have any problems or concerns about your study at London Met come along to MetSU for a chat with one of our Student Advocates who will try their best to help and assist you.
The more you put into the Students’ Union the more you will get out of it! We need as many students as possible to get involved in the Union and to volunteer their time.
You could write for the ISM magazine, become a Student Academic Representative (StAR) to represent your peers at departmental level or join a Union affiliated Society.

- Academic & Welfare Representation
Remember, we are here to help and assist you, so if you are unsure about who to turn to, come along to see one of our Student Advocates or Student Support Facilitators.
MetSU Media
MetSU isn’t all about advice! We also have loads of exciting opportunities for you to get involved in the media side of MetSU, or as we like to call it, MetSU media.
We have a student magazine, website, MetSpace, MetForum and brand new MetSU Radio.
To make all of this work, we need your help! Without people like you there wouldn’t be a media section! Whatever your experience, all are welcome with the media team will provide guidance and support to you.
