Ange Hi Everyone, I wanted to let you all know just for your information that our Moms n Tots get together on every other Friday morning at 10am at the church and that all are welcome to come join us! We would love for this group of moms getting together can reach out to friends of yours even if you want to invite them out... with their little ones! Its a time for Moms to just get out of the house and have a central meeting place and allow the kids to play while you have some adult time as well. We always have a snack for the little ones and something for us to munch on as well! It does not matter the age of your children, from newborn to preschool. Our next get together is actually tomorrow morning and then Dec 11th which we are planning a Christmas theme. We will then be starting up again on Friday, Jan 8th again and every two weeks thereafter! Hope to see some new faces out!

Here's a few things to be on the lookout around Hillside in the next few weeks- Plans are in the works for this year's Christmas celebrations at Hillside...ah, candlelight.- The elder's are opening up their monthly meeting in January for anyone interested in talking about loving the kids at...

Ange Moms n Tots this Friday, Nov 27th at 10am, hope to see some Moms n Tots, :o)

Ange Just a reminder that Moms N Tots is this morning at 10am at the church in the preschool area, hope all you Moms N Tots can make it out!

Dallas Willard's 2006 book called "The Great Omission" is an important reminder that the mission of the church is to make disciples, not converts (Matthew 28:18-20)....

some thoughts on our time with Irene (all the way from Atlanta, GA) Oct. 25 from mb…these are the big ideas I came away with…things I was reminded of:
stretch yourself, stretch one another in love, closer to God, and therefore closer to people. people close to you and people far away. people close to God and those far... away from Him. dive into your (community group) life and/or all groups that you interact with thinking : what can I give rather than what can I get? get out of the way, let God work and be amazed.
a lot of ways your group life will ripple outwards will not be seen right away or ever by you... what are your thinking thoughts? (to quote a great late uncle of jim's...)

Hillside Church Here's the first of "Three Big Questions" we want to get the community chewing on over the next few months. So have a watch and let's get the conversation rolling...
