Ten London parks are about to benefit from a major makeover and one of them could be a park near you.
The Mayor of London is giving ten grants of up to £400,000 to London's most needy parks to make them cleaner, safer, greener, and nicer places to visit. Londoners are now invited to vote for which parks win an award.

The Greater London Authority in partnership with London's local authorities and Green Spaces Forum is currently working on a project to build the definitive online guide to London's parks and open spaces. To make the site really come to ...life, we need your photos, and lots of them.
We want all sorts of pictures, whether of park facilities, nature, wildlife, anything you like really. The only rules are that a person must not be the main suject of the photo and the park must be in London.
When you submit your image, please make sure to include the following information:
The name of the park.
If you don't know the name of the park, the road that the park entrance is on.
The name of the borough the park is in.
The date when the photo was taken
The best photos will then be chosen for the website. So go on and explore the great outdoors now, and see if you can do better than our effort
