Entering Tatsuo Miyajima's world is to take a step into darkness. Twinkling in the gloom are digital numbers moving upwards or downwards at varying speeds. Initially, the ticking digits disorientate as you try to make sense of them but soon you are hypnotised by their pulsing rhythms.
