Catch the new band from Jon Fawkes (Filaments/Suicide Bid/BabylonWhackers) with Joe (Stockyard Stoics) & Brendan (Stockyard Stoics/ MDC) on their debut UK tour which kicks off in KINGSTON UPON THAMES on Saturday August 2nd.
The will be playing tracks from their brand new album "Murderers" released on Household Name Re...cords on 9th September 2008.
The album includes guest appearances from members of The Hold Steady, World/Inferno Friendship Society and Morning Glory

Jon Fawkes describes the music of THE 241ers as "acoustic, political punk rock, in the vein of (i hope) Billy Bragg, The Clash, Against Me, Stiff Little Fingers..... just quieter!"
Jon went on to tell us about the album's 10 tracks covered subjects including "the soul destroying hardships of working in New York hipster bars to police murder and organisation against the BNP, plus a theatrical dialogue between (former US president) Ronald Reagan and the devil during his descent into hell!"
Jon also suggested that the new record would be "Music your mum and dad might like." and signed off by reminding us that the 241ers are "are amazing. And handsome."
This proud boast can be examined at close quarters when the 241ers tour the UK in August:
