Downham library is delighted to announce that Roberta Taylor, former Eastenders and The Bill regular and author of the bestselling autobiography Too Many Mothers, will be launching the paperback edition of her first novel at a free event in the library.

The Reinvention of Ivy Brown is an evocative tale of love and betr...ayal set during a freezing London winter in the early 1960s, and provides a thought-provoking view of the consequences of loneliness.

Roberta will read from her novel and take questions. Signed copies of her novel will be available to buy.
