The London Business School Club of New York would like to invite you to a lecture by John Mullins, London Business School's Associate Professor of Management Practice in Marketing and Entrepreneurship on Tuesday, September 15th at The Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center at Columbia Business School. John will speak abo...ut "Why Business Plans Don't Deliver." Despite numerous books and articles on business planning, a plethora of websites, and no shortage of good advice, most business plans attract no customers and raise no capital. John's talk examines the five oh-so-common varieties of business plans that go most quickly into the trash. And it identifies a process and a framework for getting to a business plan and a business model that will actually work.

Limited copies of John's latest book Getting to Plan B: Breaking Through to a Better Business Model (John Mullins and Randy Komisar, Harvard Business Press: 2009) will be available for sale for $20 (Cash Only).
