The Circus Space
Our Circus skills workshops offer the chance to try Diabolo, flying trapeze, static trapeze and stilt walking in the morning, or juggling, acrobatic balancing, tight-wire and flying trapeze in the afternoon. Or why not go for the full Monty and go for a whole day of circus skills – with a chance to have a second go on ...the daring flying trapeze!
Circus Half day morning, 10.30am – 1.45pm: Diabolo, flying trapeze, stilt walking and static trapeze
Circus half day afternoon, 2.30pm – 5.45pm: Juggling, tight-wire walking, flying trapeze and acrobatic balancing.
Price: £55 per person per half-day or book both together for a whole day at a discount rate of £95!

starts next Wednesday 2nd December - 7.30pm - BBC1
(filmed at ZIPPOS CIRCUS!!)
A colourful, upbeat comedy set in and around a travelling circus, Big Top stars Amanda Holden, John Thomson, Sophie Thompson, Tony Robinson, Ruth Madoc and Bruce Mackinnon as the performers and backstage staff who make up Circus Maes...tro.
Each week a story is unfolded, erected, performed and taken down just like the Big Top itself. Our circus is fraught with problems which the Ringmistress Lizzie must overcome.
Amanda Holden plays Lizzie the Ring Mistress; John Thomson as Geoff and Sophie Thompson as Helen are the clown husband-and-wife team, Plinky and Plonky (although he hasn't a funny bone in his body); Tony Robinson is Erasmus, the cynical soundman; Ruth Madoc plays Georgie, the Grande Dame of Circus Maestro; and Bruce Mackinnon plays Boyco, the dazzlingly talented East European acrobat who is incredibly naive about the ways of the English world.
Big Top is written by Daniel Peak.
The Circus Space WAKE by Acrojou Circus Theatre (featuring Circus Space Grads Jeni Barnard and Barney White) at Jackson's Lane tonight at 8pm. Not to be missed.
