The Halfmoon Putney Wednesday 30th December sees Girth and Simon's pub quiz review of the year - £1 per person, up to six per team. We've had our prize fund boosted too - we're talking cash, booze, golden tickets, bar tabs... and of course all the lovingly crafted trivia and tomfoolery that you've come to expect from Putney's finest pub q...uiz. It all kicks off at 8.30pm. See you there!

Russ Gardner Youngs, pleaase DO NOT let the halfmoon close its doors to bands and become a gastro pub! It has become somewhere to go in the area to listen to music worth listening to since the 60's keep it as it is for another 40 odd years! I personally think it is a huge mistake to change it. It is getting harder to find pubs that... sell decent beer and get decent bands to play, please do not become one of those that closes its doors to bands.
