hey guys ,craig and myself are going to be running an OCD self help group starting august for 6 weeks in Taunton. This is not a support group but a self help group. I am a integrated counsellor and I am trained in CBT/REBT , I also use mindfulness based cbt. I also am a reiki practioner. Craig and I have both suffered... from OCD , and we understand how overwhelming it can seem. This group will provide OCD education for sufferers and carers. Also further one to one treatment is avaliable for anyone wishing to have treatment once the group finishes. The fee for the full 6 weeks is £150.00, If anyone is interested contact Sharon on 07729848675. Also we will be running groups in Bristol, exeter and possibly London very shortly.Read More

hello everyone :) do any of you have this strange thing where you have to keep sorting your possessions out and transferring as much of you can to a charity shop or something?
since i was little i used to sort out and organise my toys (including things like if an outfit came with a specific doll, it would not be allowe...d to go on another doll), and since i can remember i've wanted to reduce the amount of belongings i have so they would all fit in smaller and smaller spaces... because of this i picked the smallest room in my house (also so i didnt have the fixed cupboards) and gradually reduced my furniture... it's starting to really bug me now especially as things like art materials that i have to keep are taking up so much SPACE!!
can anyone help me please?? or just explain their similarities?? :)
thank you :) xRead More

Sandra Brennan We cannot thank you enough Clint for what you have done for our son recently. You have changed his life, and he is now able to cope with his OCD and realises he is not alone. Wishing you continued success with your work, you are brilliant! Many thanks again

John God I sound like I'm preaching! sorry, have a nice day!

John My OCD is pretty good today! resist the urge to check, accept the discomfort and don't carry out that ritual, just walk away. You'll feel better in the long-term I promise.
