Waterfront Wednesdays The summer is coming to a close, won't you celebrate a spectacular summer with us on the beach!

Our guest for this week is Isomer Transition:

US born (New York) RJ Valeo is an electronic music producer, live performer, and event curator. Influenced by microsound, glitch, techno, dub, new wave, idm, and industrial, his 'I...somer Transition' releases avant-guarde futuristic dance music that shows these roots.

Opting to develop his own style rather than fit neatly into an established genre, his music ranges from deep and minimal dubby tech-groovers (minimal in the amount of musical content, not the style) to in-your-face energy filled dance floor movers. All the while keeping the productions thick with intent, massive mix depth, and an undeniable groove.

Isomer Transition's debut 'Shadownlands EP' was featured on Maryanne Hobb's 'The Breezeblock' and his productions have been compared to Richie Hawtin, Matthew Dear, Kraftwerk and even Gas (under his RJ Valeo moniker). He was a co-founder of the BAP and BAPLAB series of art and music events held in NYC from 2005-2006. He continues to search out new technology and software and use it in his compositions.

Waterfront Wednesdays

Waterfront Wednesdays The last time we tried to get Dave behind the decks, we had some of the craziest lightening storms of the summer and had to call the night off. He's generously agreed to give it another shot. Head-honcho of Dubwar, NYC's heavyweight dubstep monthly, expect fresh funky jams and bassed-out good vibes.

Waterfront Wednesdays August 26th we are delighted to have two stellar guests, Rob Van Valen and David Last!!

-----

rob van valen aka odd dots (frankie rec, archipel, wolf+lamb music)

In 2006 and 2007, Rob released ecstasy & video game laden lofi tech house on the Wolf + Lamb Music as Odd Dots and Van Valen. He has played across North America ...and Europe. Rob has since returned from Berlin and released a heady collection of wobbly tracks on Archipel with 2009 holding several new releases including one on the quirky Frankie Rec label with a track included on Fabric 046 by Claude Vonstroke as well as a forthcoming EP with Atomiq. Old zombie film soundtracks had fun with a roland drum machine on 2CB.

DAVID LAST (Konque, Staubgold, Wolf+Lamb, The Agriculture)

David Last makes tracks which combine dancefloor energy with the deeper-leaning funk of dancehall, latin music, dub, and hip hop. Since 2004 he has become known for his instantly recognizable soundcraft and a unique sense of rhythm. While many other producers conform to genre exercises, Last has followed his own path and developed a personal style that is undeniably his own. His full length releases with Staubgold (Berlin) and The Agriculture (NYC) have gained critical acclaim and a sizable cult following in Europe, the USA, and Japan. He has contributed singles and remixes to numerous labels including Francois K's WaveTec (NYC), Audio.NL (Rotterdam), Wolf + Lamb (NYC), The Social Registry (NYC), Powershovel Audio (Tokyo) and Geometric Deck (Osaka). His own label Konque started releasing eclectic techno and leftfield soundscapes in 2008. His performance at this year's MUTEK Piknic Electronic started some new buzz, and was a top favorite of the Piknic crew. David is also a visual artist, and a co-curator of Devotion, a new art gallery opening in Williamsburg this fall.
