BOULDER — Budget limits are forcing Boulder County to freeze enrollment in a program that helps low-income families pay for child care, the county’s Housing and Human Services Department announced Wednesday.

$3,400/mo is considered "low income"? Holy mackerel. Perhaps some money from this program should go toward financial education, for families. Perhaps it should also go toward educating businesses about being more family friendly, so that expensive child-care is not as necessary.
