I took Aunt Shirley Dial and Miss Bonice to the show and it was great. We had a great time at the "49" with Chief Jimmy and the others from the tribe who could make it there. Thanks Rhett and Link...we owe you one...Wohnairé!

So glad I attended. This movie made me so proud of our Lumbee tribe. Rhett and Link did an excellent job of making a very humorous film that still displayed respect and exposure for a 100+ year struggle to gain federal recognition. I can't stop talking about it to my friends and family back home. I can't wait for the dvd to come out so that I can ... Read Moreshare it with them. Thanks, Rhett and Link for producing this film! Please come back to do a screening in Robeson County. There are many people there who want to see this and can't afford to travel. It would mean so much!

Come see our feature length doc..if you're in the Wilmington area! We'll be there with our families to see the film.

Tickets are $10 at the door.

The movie is playing at 4:30PM on Friday, Nov. 14th at Jengo's Playhouse in Wilmington. Address is 815 Princess St.

http://www.cucalorus.org/

About the movie: Using only word o...f mouth, two lifelong best friends and semi-famous web comedians, Rhett & Link, embark on a search for the long-lost teacher of the first grade class where they met. Their journey leads them deep into the heart of an obscure tribe of Native Americans, the Lumbee of North Carolina.

Serendipitously, Rhett & Link arrive on the scene at the very climax of the tribe's century-long political struggle for identity. In a day of mobile devices that allow for a multitude of superficial connections with other 'users,' the unforgettable characters in Looking for Ms. Locklear serve as a reminder that people have more to say than an email or text message can communicate.
