American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles (ABCLA) 25 youth and leaders came together to Serve our own city. We slept over at First Baptist Church of L.A. and served in several places around L.A.: Faith in Christ Ministries, Palos Verdes Baptist Church, Park Windsor Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Glendale, The Dream Center, Union Rescue Mission & the L.A. Mission.

After camping at the Grand Canyon the youth from LA and Santa Ana visited Low Mountain on the Navajo Reservation and the youth from National City visited Clarkdale, AZ on the Yavapai-Apache ...Nation. It was an incredible time of deep fellowship and inspiration!

Arizona Mission Encounter
July 26 - August 2, 2009
Native American Youth from Arizona are being invited to join with youth and leaders from our regions for a few days of camping at the Grand Canyon and a few days in their communities on the Native American Reservation.
