Los Angeles Parents Union
On January 17 the Los Angeles Parents Union joined with President Barack Obama and the Presidential Inaugural Committee in a Day of Service to launch the Parent Revolution at Garfield High School.
Volunteers canvassed the neighborhood surrounding Garfield High School with one simple message:
Parents have the power to tak...e back our schools. If you are dissatisfied with your child's school, then organize half the parents at your school to join the Parent Revolution and the Parents Union will guarantee your child a great school!
THANK YOU to all who participated in our Day of Service, and to President Barack Obama and the Presidential Inaugural Committee for organizing the day and helping us launch the Parent Revolution. Stay tuned because the Parent Revolution is launching city-wide in 30 days!
