Thinkspace Gallery Thinkspace is pleased to announce we’ll be returning to Miami this December during Art Basel to participate in Aqua Art Miami. We’re honored to be a part of Aqua's mission of promoting the West Coast and all the innovative artwork that’s created in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. Think...space will be showing a collection of new works created in a variety of mediums, from oil and acrylic to gouache and mixed media. This special collection of curated works will showcase the breadth of talent we work with and will serve as a perfect example of our boundary pushing aesthetic. Please join us at Aqua Wynwood, Booth 25, from December 3rd – December 6th, 2009 in Miami, FL.

This will mark our second year showing in Miami and our first with Aqua Art Miami. We are looking forward to showcasing new works from Brian M. Viveros, Mr. Jago, Kris Lewis, Ekundayo, Scott Radke, and Yosuke Ueno, all of whom are well known in the new contemporary art movement due to their strong and diverse resumes. We are honored to be working with these artists and look forward to what the future holds for each. We will also be showcasing new work from emerging talent such as Joao Ruas, Brett Amory, Sarah Joncas, Allison Sommers, Tran Nguyen, Nathan DeYoung, Tony Philippou, Imminent Disaster, and Seth Armstrong. We are eager for all to further discover their work and are confident that they will turn heads with their fresh and distinctly modern takes on the world around us. The future is indeed bright for these young artists and we’re excited to grow with them over the coming years.

Thinkspace has garnered press in the past year from the likes of Juxtapoz, LA Weekly, Citizen LA, Brand X, THE Magazine, Art Ltd, Inked Magazine and numerous on-line sources all calling out the gallery as a hot spot for the new contemporary art movement.

“Unafraid to test out something new, Thinkspace is constantly pushing boundaries and exposing new and exciting artists that often go on to exhibit internationally, while maintaining ties to the gallery that helped them start it all. This is not to say Thinkspace only showcases emerging talent, as a quick look at their roster proves Thinkspace has their proverbial finger directly on the pulse of contemporary art.” - JUXTAPOZ

This December our aim is to inject our love and devotion for the new contemporary movement (ie: pop surrealism, lowbrow, outsider art, urban contemporary) into the hearts and minds of all the art lovers from around the world that will be in Miami.

Aqua Wynwood takes place in the heart of Miami’s gallery district within a few blocks of the Rubell Collection and many other satellite fairs taking place during Art Basel week.
