Amber Schanick finally got an appt to go see Dr. Maish for next thursday..hoping and praying that she can help to figure out what is causing all these issues with my throat..and maybe if i am lucky i won't have to do major surgery..

Fred Chrisman Amber you can put your self in Dr.Maish hands and rest easy, she has a staff of out standing people that see to your every need. Had I not had a slight hart rythem problem I would have been out in 7days back home. She makes 5 -7 small incisions for a camera and one forher hand which is about 3 " long and goes in and re...moves the bad part and makes a new one fromy our stomick. I had checked localy and they wanted to cut open my chest and the recovery time just for the bones to heal was 7 to 10 weeks not counting about 10 months for total recovery, I have a friend who had this done not good.

Amber Schanick wow..i am shocked that there is a facebook for this center..my GI Doc here in Santa Barbara wants to send me here...I am at the point of giving up..NOBODY knows why my esophegus is the was it is..and I really really can't stand the thought of major surgery...I pray that the docs at UCLA can help figure out my condition..

Fred Chrisman I realy enjoyed the lunch. Thease two out standing ladys took time out of what they were doing when they saw I was having a problem and stablized me. in the picture is my daughter Erin Dimond, Dr.Maish, myself Fred Chrisman and Becky
