Los Angeles Friends of Tibet The Tibetan Association of Southern California will host a dinner, cultural show and talent show to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Dalai Lama's Nobel Peace Prize. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Los Angeles Tibetan Sunday School, where Tibetan children study their language, culture, history and religion. Cost: $15 per person

The UK is also in touch with other EU country ministers to see if they can agree to a joint statement. Please join LAFOT and TASC as we celebrate His Holiness the Dalai Lama's 74th birthday on Saturday, July 4, from 11 am to 4 pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6323 W. 80th Street (Sepulveda/80th). Please bring a dish to share for a potluck lunch. The program includes a ceremony and long-life prayer for HHDL at 11 AM, ...followed by lunch at noon. Activities include a cultural show, talent show (open to all!), special guests, awards and more.
